Gerald W. Reynolds Declared Winner of Runoff Election for Councilmember Place 1
The City Council convened a special meeting on June 24th, 2026, to canvass the returns and declare the results of the runoff election for Councilmember Place 1 held on June 13th, 2026. Out of 24,005 registered voters, 597 ballots were cast in the runoff, representing a 2.49% voter turnout. Gerald W. Reynolds received 331 votes, which constituted 55.44% of the total votes, thereby securing his election to Councilmember Place 1. The council approved Resolution R-2026-140, officially canvassing these results and declaring Reynolds the winner. The meeting adjourned at 5:32 p.m.
