Due to a transition in the police chief position and the manager being new, the invoice slipped through the cracks. Road Closures, Infrastructure Projects, and Utility Updates in Clayton
The City Manager provided updates on several ongoing and upcoming projects. Westbrook Road will be closed from June 8th for approximately three weeks between Union Road and Hoke Road for the installation of a new culvert, a project in conjunction with the city of Trotwood. Regarding Hoke Road, sanitary sewer installation is expected to continue for several weeks, and utility pole relocation is underway, with completion anticipated by the end of the week or early next week. A snag occurred when a main gas line was hit, causing a road closure, but it was quickly repaired. The Hoke Road project is hoped to be finished by November. Additionally, regarding fiber optics, Frontier is permitted to be in the right-of-way but must repair any disturbances and notify residents before entering their right-of-way, especially in backyards. The impact on residents should be minimal.
