Raymore City Council Approves Contract for Recycle Inplace Project
The council approved the second reading of Bill 4037, authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with Gallagher Asphalt Corporation for the recycle inplace project (City Project Number 26-505-201) for $484,314. The agreement also allows the city manager to approve change orders within established budget constraints. The council also approved the second reading of Bill 4038, amending the fiscal year 2026 capital budget for the same project to $525,000.
Raymore Approves City Hall Refresh Project, Including Parking Lot and Traffic Calming Measures
The council approved the first reading of Bill 4045, authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with Tino Construction Inc. for the city hall refresh project (City Project Number 26-484-201) in the amount of $195,777.50. The project includes converting the main drive of the city hall parking lot to concrete and installing a raised crosswalk to deter cut-through traffic. The agreement allows the city manager to approve change orders within established budget constraints. The motion passed 6-1.
Raymore Approves Waterline Easement Changes for The Lofts at Fox Ridge
The council approved the second reading of Bill 4042, which vacates an existing platted waterline easement and accepts a waterline easement on the property described as The Lofts at Fox Ridge. The property is located in the northeast quarter of section 17, Township 46 North, Range 32 West, Raymore, Cass County, Missouri. The motion passed unanimously.
Raymore to Establish Charter Review Commission
The council approved Resolution 26-27, establishing the procedure and schedule for forming a Charter Review Commission as required by section 14.8 of the Raymore City Charter. This commission will review the city charter and make recommendations to the voters, with the process mirroring previous commissions and outlining member selection and work session dates. The motion passed unanimously.
Raymore Approves Major Contract for Kurszill Road Construction
The council approved the second reading of Bill 4041, authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with VF Anderson Builders LLC for the Kurszill Road construction project (City Project Number 26-451-201) in the amount of $4,836,185. The agreement also authorizes the city manager to approve change orders within established budget constraints. The motion passed unanimously.
