She served eight years on playgrounds and 28 years as a special education aide. Lori Retella was also honored for her two decades of service, starting in the 2004-2005 school year as a substitute monitor and aid, and returning in 2014 as a full-time aide. Cindy Natoli, senior clerk typist at Old Mill Road's main office, was celebrated for her 14 years of service, starting in 2012-2013 as a library typist clerk and promoted to senior typist clerk in 2018. School District Highlights End-of-Year Activities, PTA Successes, and Facility Updates

The school board meeting provided updates on various school and PTA activities. The first annual color run, organized by PTAs, was a significant success, with more participants than the trunk-or-treat event. Field day events are scheduled for sixth graders and other grades, with weather considerations. The Dr. Irene Lenhard awards are scheduled at MAMS. The meeting also noted upcoming events like kindergarten and sixth-grade moving-up ceremonies and the last day of school. PTA activities across different schools were highlighted, including talent shows, color runs, meet-and-greets with new principals, Funday events with circus performances, and successful fundraising efforts. Old Mill Road PTA exceeded its fundraising goal, collecting $55,600. SEPTA held an end-of-year ice cream social. Buildings and grounds reported on preparing fields for events, new flooring in classrooms, and the upcoming roof project at Camp Avenue, starting after school ends. Summer programs are also planned.
