Church Prayer Walk Approved
The board approved the Church of God 7th Day's request for their annual prayer walk through town. The walk, scheduled for the past three years, has had no issues and is considered a minor event, with attendance being sparsely attended and not causing problems.
Sidewalk Repairs to be Rebid
The board approved putting sidewalk repairs out for a new contract after the current vendor, ASV, chose not to agree to a renewal. ASV had been the vendor for at least 20 years and their contract has expired. The recommendation is to rebid the work.
Multiple Grant Applications Approved
The board approved applications for several grants. This includes a grant for SCAT packs for firefighters, a grant for radios, a cybersecurity grant, and an application for the DOT Safe Streets and Roads grant program.
Fire Department Items Tabled for Executive Session
The board is tabling two items related to the fire department for executive session. Item 5A-2 concerning a request from the fire department is being tabled, as is another request for the fire department mentioned later.
Payment of Audited Bills Approved
The board approved payment of bills listed on the abstract of audited vouchers. The motion was made and seconded, and all in favor approved.
