Public Works Updates on Drainage Replacement, Water Plant Delays, and Parks Project Coordination
Public Works Engineer Damon Johnson reported on the ongoing replacement of an undersized and deteriorated drainage structure on Hawkins, involving the construction of a new box culvert. This purchase aims to address issues with the community center's aging AV system. Additionally, the council noted items sold at auction on May 29th, including treadmills, ellipticals, grinders, and a truck. The heating element of the community center's therapeutic pool, which is 10 years old, needs replacement, and bids are being gathered, which will cause the pool to be temporarily closed. Batesville Municipal Code Zoning Provisions Amended
