City Approves Funding for New 'Game Time' Entrance Road

This project involves moving shale from a large pond on the Lion campus to build the road, with costs estimated at $251,000. The aim is to provide a primary entrance to Game Time and potentially accommodate a bike trail, curb, and lighting, with funds to be reimbursed to parks.
City to Pursue Federal Funds for Highway 38 Roundabout Design
The city expressed its willingness to utilize federal aid Surface Transportation Program (STP STBG) funds for the design of a roundabout north of Exit 21 on Highway 38, in conjunction with the upcoming opening of Irwin Parkway and Willie Ray. This is a grant application to support previous applications, with the goal of securing future funding for construction once the design is complete. The project aims to alleviate anticipated traffic congestion.
