Updated Student Fee Schedules Approved; Paxton Patterson Lab Fees Introduced
The board approved updated student fee schedules for GRC, RDC, and Baker. Changes include adding $10 for background checks for GRC dance, removing fees for CTE classes at RDC due to the introduction of Paxton Patterson labs, and adding a $20 Paxton Patterson lab fee at RDC and a $5 fee at Baker. A $50 fee for Black and Hispanic Achievers at Baker was removed as it is managed by an external group. A provision for free or reduced lunch students to be exempt from fees was also noted.
Carry Forward Requests Approved for Section Six Funds
The board approved carry forward requests for Section Six funds. These funds will be committed to be carried over for schools to use in the next fiscal year, with specific intended uses noted, such as for instructional assistant positions.
