Forrestown City Council Sets November Election Date, Cites Cost Savings

The council approved a resolution for calling the next municipal election on November 3rd. This move aligns with a legislative change that shifted municipal election days to either August or November, and the city chose November to improve voter turnout and reduce costs. The move to November is expected to save the city between $15,000 and $30,000 annually or biennially due to no longer holding standalone elections.
