Harimacho, Japan Students to Visit Lima
The Lima Sister Cities program will host four students (ages 13-15) and three adult chaperones from Harimacho, Japan, from July 27th to August 2nd. They will visit the Lima Municipal Building on Wednesday, July 29th at 10 a.m. for a tour and the mayor's media briefing. The students will also visit downtown shops and the Lima Community Aquatic Park. There is a need for at least one additional host family for a student and one for an adult chaperone. Councilor Wilkerson's Absence Approved; Memorial Service Announced
Councilor Gordon moved to approve the absence and pay for Councilor Wilkerson. The motion passed. He also thanked Chief Hyle, Chief McDermott, Amy Harpsher, and Perella for their assistance to residents in the first ward.
