Chamberlain Road Properties Annexed and Rezoned to Residential
The City Council considered the second reading of ordinances to annex and rezone three properties located at 769 Chamberlain Road, 759 Chamberlain Road, and 0 Chamberlain Road. Grovetown Police Department Hosts Annual Summer Camp for Youth

The camp provided activities, meals, and educational events for 50 local children. Major Eastman and the entire department were commended for their efforts in running the camp.
City Declares Surplus Truck for Parts Salvage
The council recommended the adoption of a resolution to declare a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado as surplus property. The vehicle requires an $8,500 transmission repair, which is deemed not cost-effective. The plan is to scrap the vehicle for usable parts and then take the remaining metal to a scrap yard. This process is expected to yield more value than selling the vehicle as is.
