City Approves $77,400 Amendment for Gilliam Creek Fish Barrier Engineering

City Hall Roof and Gutter Replacement Project Approved for $144,403.20
The council authorized the Mayor to execute a contract with Creative Roof Solutions LLC for the City Hall roof and gutter replacement project in the amount of $144,403.20. The current roof is old and requires replacement to address leaks. The project is expected to be completed by the end of August, with a two-week window for the work. The contract includes provisions for replacing the entire roof, gutters, and potentially damaged decking.
City Approves $380,000 Contract for Lower Green Riverfront Master Plan
The council authorized the Mayor to execute a professional service contract with Methune for the Lower Green Riverfront Master Plan in the amount of $380,000. This plan, partially funded by a grant from Ecology, aims to establish a long-term vision and implementation strategy for the Green River corridor to guide future levy investments by balancing flood risk reduction with environmental restoration, public access, recreation, community connectivity, and economic development. The funding consists of $233,750 from the Ecology FCAM grant and $146,250 from the city's surface water fund. The contract is for 12 months and is intended to be completed before the grant funding expires on June 30, 2027.
