The council addressed the condemnation hearing for 387 Carolyn Street, owned by Leroy Blade. The structure is severely dilapidated and considered a dangerous attractive nuisance. The recommendation was to condemn the property and allow the owner 60 days for voluntary demolition. Rodney Blade, representing his father Leroy, requested the city demolish it, citing past issues with contractors. The council voted to condemn the property with 60 days for voluntary demolition.
