Council Approves Bids for 2026 Paving, Seal Coat, and Fog Seal Programs

The council approved bids and proposals for several 2026 programs. For the 2026 Paving Program (2602-PAV), Liberon Incorporated was the low bidder. For the 2026 Seal Coat Program (2603-SC), Russell Standard Corporation was the low bidder, noted as a typical vendor. For the 2026 Fog Seal Program (2604-FS), Russell Standard Corporation was also the sole bidder. The Fog Seal program had approximately $40,000 left over from the estimated amount compared to the bid amount, with a cautionary note about oil index fluctuations.

A waiver was also granted to release the Pittsburgh Muslim Community Center Trust from installing sidewalks as required by ordinance numbers 1016 and 2235.
