Warehouse Height and Coverage Variances Reviewed by Zoning Board

The board considered an application for a height variance and building coverage variance for two warehouse buildings, A and B, proposed by Bridge Asset Management. Building A is planned to be 216,000 sq ft and Building B at 135,000 sq ft. The proposed height is 40 feet, exceeding the 30-foot ordinance limit, and building coverage is proposed at 19.7%, exceeding the 15% ordinance limit. The applicant presented revised plans addressing previous concerns, including reorienting loading docks to the north, increasing setbacks from residences, and enhancing landscaping along Millstone Road. The fire chief testified regarding the adequacy of fire suppression capabilities, and the architect detailed the building design and materials. The application was carried to the August 26, 2026 meeting.
