New Utility Pole to be Installed on Sedbury Street; Public Hearing Scheduled
Mass Electric and Verizon have petitioned to install a joint owned pole on Sedbury Street, approximately 400 ft south of the intersection with Carver Hill Road. National Grid is involved in installing a 50ft class H1 pole between pole 36 and pole 37. The pole will be labeled P3750. The council will hold a public hearing on July 20th and has referred the item to the city engineer. The motion carried. [cite: 245-268]
Salary Ordinance for Four Key Positions to be Advertised
The City Council approved advertising the seven-step salary ordinance for the positions of city collector, assistant director of finance, recreation director, and assistant recreation director.
