Booking Error at MLK Park Leads to Event Cancellation Concerns
A resident reported an issue regarding a booking error for an event at Martin Luther King Park. A friend's deposit was accepted, but then she was told the venue was double-booked and the money was returned. The resident expressed the difficulty of finding an alternative venue during graduation week for a repass event. The council member stated this was the first they heard of it and would investigate with the Park and Recreation department and the Martin Luther King committee.
