Dublin Planning Commission Discusses 50-Year Community Time Capsule Project
The Dublin Planning Commission received a presentation on the 2026-2076 Community Time Capsule Project. This project, initiated in celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary, involves collecting items from local community groups, CBOs, and nonprofit organizations to be sealed in a time capsule. The capsule will be ceremonially sealed at the Red, White, and Blue Backyard Bash on July 4th and displayed in the lobby of City Hall. The project aims to commemorate the current time for future generations to discover in 50 years. No action was taken by the commission, as it was an informational item, and public comment was opened and closed with no speakers.
