Jeffrey Lucas Appointed to Belmont Light Board Following Candidate Discussion

The Belmont Light Board discussed the vacancy for the municipal light board. After reviewing 13 candidates, four were initially recommended. However, one candidate, Emily Wong, was disqualified due to not being a U.S. citizen. The board then narrowed down the candidates to Mike Bufano, Christian Blum, and Jeffrey Lucas. The discussion focused on the candidates' expertise, particularly in finance and energy, and the board ultimately nominated and voted to appoint Jeffrey Lucas to fill the vacancy until the April election.
