City Administrator Updates Council on Meetings, Land Closing, and Plan Commission Presentation

Beaver Dam Council Approves Over $1.6 Million in Bills

City Authorizes Contract for Fire Station Property Acquisition
Resolution number 59-2026 was approved, authorizing the city administrator to sign a contract with MSA to begin assembling property for a proposed fire station location and providing the necessary funding. This resolution is a budget amendment to support the contract with MSA. The contract is for acquiring property related to one of the potential fire station sites. The council discussed the importance of securing these properties, noting that if the resolution fails, the city would need to redesign the fire station layout and reconfigure plans, potentially leaving properties unacquired.
