Select Board Approves Multiple Reappointments and New Appointments to Various Town Commissions and Boards

The Select Board reappointed two incumbents and appointed one new member to the Conservation Commission. The reappointments were for Leo Iminan and Charles Woodhams, both serving terms effective July 1, 2026. Leo Iminan was reappointed as the Conservation Commission representative, and Charles Woodhams as the Planning Board representative. The new appointment was Brenda Elay, who will serve a term effective July 1, 2026. Brian Tus was also interviewed for a Conservation Commission position. Shawn Douly withdrew his candidacy. The board also appointed election workers for a term effective July 1, 2026, through August 1, 2027. Members of boards, committees, and commissions with terms expiring June 30, 2026, were reappointed as presented. The board also approved two conservation restrictions on properties located at 431 South Street and 85 and 95 Beach Street, appropriating $310,500 in CPA funds. Additionally, the National Grid pole petition for Green Street was approved, and a common victual license application for the kitchen at White Barn Farm was approved pending good standing with the board of health, building inspector, and public safety. Special one-day alcohol licenses were approved for White Barn Farm's summer nights series on multiple dates in June, July, and August 2026. Several reappointments to the Historical Commission were made: Ray Rose and Leo Baldigger were reappointed, and Paul Bender was appointed. Greg Stall, an incumbent, was not reappointed to the Historical Commission. The Select Board reappointed three members to the Conservation Commission: Leo Iminan, Charles Woodhams, and Brenda Elay. The Select Board also reappointed members to various boards, committees, and commissions with terms expiring June 30, 2026, as presented. The board voted 5-0 to reappoint Leo Iminan and Charles Woodhams to the Community Preservation Commission and also reappointed members to boards, committees, and commissions with terms expiring June 30, 2026. The Select Board also approved the appointment of election workers for the upcoming term. The Select Board approved conservation restrictions for properties on South Street and Beach Street. Chandler Ross and Mary Gia Colon were appointed to the Sweat Fund Advisory Committee.
