2026 QComp Annual Report Approved After Agenda Amendment
The school board added and approved the 2026 QComp annual report. School Board Approves 2026-2027 Preliminary Budget
The school board approved the preliminary budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. The general fund is projected to have revenues and expenditures just under $156.9 million, with no change to the fund balance. The food service fund anticipates an $8.5 million revenue and $8.4 million expenditure, leading to a slight increase in fund balance. Community service funds are projected at $10.5 million in revenue and $10.9 million in expenditures, resulting in a decrease of about $370,000 in fund balance. Building construction funds will utilize bond proceeds, and debt service funds have revenues of $20.6 million and expenditures of $19.7 million. The total projected revenue for all funds is $197,446,485, and expenditures are $231,109,485.
10-Year Long-Term Facility Maintenance Plan Approved
The school board approved the 10-year long-term facility maintenance plan. This plan was presented at the previous meeting and includes specific projects for fiscal year 2028. Additional attachments for the MDE application, including the expenditure application, revenue projection, statement of assurances, school board resolution, and meeting minutes, were also approved. The board will revisit the plan annually for subsequent fiscal years.
