Community Members and Responders Honored for Saving Cardiac Arrest Survivor
Southbridge EMS and South Fayette Police officers were recognized for their roles in saving the life of Frank Whitler, a cardiac arrest survivor. The recognition highlighted the six links to survival in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, emphasizing the crucial actions of bystanders and responders. Specific individuals and teams were acknowledged for their swift and effective responses, including 911 telecommunicators, a bystander who performed CPR, and EMS/police personnel who provided advanced life support and defibrillation.
