The payment amount to the City of McComb is $251.54. The motion was made by Select Woman Baylor and seconded by Selectman Thompson. All present board members voted in favor.
City Approves Solid Waste Service Agreement with Waste Management, Secures Reduced Pricing
The board approved the solid waste service agreement between the City of Macomb, Mississippi, and Waste Management of Mississippi Inc. Selectman Cotting inquired about the pricing, specifically if it was reduced similarly to the county's rate. It was confirmed that the city received the same reduced rate of $9.20 per service. The agreement's payment period was clarified as 48 months per meter, starting from when the meter is back online, and applies only to meters identified by Water Company of America, estimated at around 35 meters.
Airport Improvement Program Agreement for Design Phase Approved
The board considered approving the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Project Number 3-28-0049-035-2026 agreement and authorizing the mayor to sign it. It was clarified that this agreement is for the design phase only and represents one of two separate grants for the same project, the other being an AIG grant. The board approved this portion, and the second part will be approved later. The approval was motioned by Select Woman Baylor and seconded by Select Woman Isaac. All board members voted in favor.
Appointment to Civil Service Commission Fails to Pass

Water Company America Invoice Approved, Clarification on Payment Terms Provided
The board approved an invoice from Water Company America for $12,581.23. This payment is part of a 48-month agreement per meter, starting when the meter is back online, and applies to approximately 35 identified meters. The agreement is for three years, with the first part ending in August of the previous year. The motion was made by Select Woman Baylor and seconded by Selectman Thompson. All board members voted in favor, with Selectman Mullins seeking clarification on the payment period.
