Universal Kids Resort Opens in Frisco After Three Years of Development

Universal Kids Resort, a new theme park focused on young children and a 300-room hotel, has completed construction in northern Frisco after more than three years. The development includes a new entrance on one side of the park, with traffic primarily accessing the site from the Dallas North Tollway via Universal Parkway. An exit off the tollway directs visitors to Universal Parkway, leading to the park's entrance. Wayfinding signs will guide guests to parking for the theme park and hotel. Panther Creek Parkway on the south side will primarily serve hotel traffic, and the employee entrance is located on the east side of the park off Universal Parkway. The park's opening hours (10 a.m.) are designed to avoid peak commuter traffic, and there is no late-night event closure, which is expected to minimize resident impact from traffic. The resort aims to immerse parkgoers in lands of popular characters like SpongeBob, Minions, and Trolls, with the hotel offering amenities such as a pool and early entry.
