The board also considered contract terms related to implementation services and data retrieval, seeking clarification on potential cost overruns and conversion guarantees.
School Board Reviews Policy Updates on Public Attendance and Government Relations
The policy committee presented two policies for first reading: Policy 9004 regarding public attendance at school events and Policy 909 concerning municipal government relations. Updates to these policies reflect changes in school code terminology, broadening the scope from local law enforcement notification to all law enforcement agencies. Additionally, outdated language regarding vaping products from the 1990s has been removed. The committee thanked Mrs. Harris for her assistance with the policy review.
