CDBG DR Intake Center Opens to Assist Residents with Disaster Recovery Funds
Tom Thompson, executive director of the town's Department of Housing, announced the formal invitation to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the CDBG DR intake center, which will assist residents impacted by the July 2023 storms using a \$96 million HUD grant. Mari Rodriguez from ICF, the agency partnering with HUD and the town, introduced her team who will be assisting residents with applications, reimbursements, or installations related to flood control measures. The intake center will be located in room 103 of the community center, starting June 15th. Town Board Approves Agreements and Invoices for Various Services and Programs
The town authorized entering into an agreement with Best Technology Systems Inc. to provide services to the town.
