Canton Conservation Commission Denies, Then Approves Restoration Plan for 10 Reservoir Circle

The Canton Conservation Commission denied a request for a certificate of compliance for 10 Reservoir Circle due to issues with the 30-foot no-disturbed zone. The commission then approved a June 8th restoration plan to address the restoration work, allowing the applicant to proceed with restoring the no-disturbance zone. Canton Conservation Commission Accepts Donation of 4 Acres for Natural Resource Protection

The Canton Conservation Commission moved forward to accept the donation of two parcels of land: 7 Cobblestone Lane (2.7 acres) and 8 Cobblestone Lane (1.33 acres), totaling approximately 4 acres, from the Oly Tree Trust. These properties are forested, include forested wetlands, and are within the riverfront area of Peekwood Brook. The land is landlocked and has an Algonquin easement.
