Broken Arrow City Council Discusses Fireworks Ordinance and Enforcement Plans

They also addressed Senate Bill 1948 (Rocket's Red Glare Act), clarifying that while it allows year-round sales and removes bans on bottle rockets, cities can still impose restrictions. The enforcement plan involves multiple teams from both departments dedicated to policing city parks, roadways, and responding to calls for service, with increased vigilance after 11:00 PM and on July 5th, which falls on a Sunday.
