The proposed redevelopment includes a senior living community with 750 independent living units and 84 assisted living memory care units, along with amenities, landscaping, and parking. Secretary to Receive Stipend for Additional Building Department Duties Amid Staff Shortage
The Village Board approved a stipend for Tara Orlando, secretary to the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Architectural Review Board, to compensate her for additional responsibilities in the Building Department due to a temporary staff shortage. Orlando will receive a stipend of $250 per paycheck, effective June 16th, 2026. This stipend will end 30 days after a new employee fills the vacancy.
In SituForm Technologies Awarded Three-Year Contract for Sewer System Rehabilitation
The Village Board approved a contract for cured-in-place piping (CIPP), manhole rehabilitation, and sewer cleaning services. Bids were solicited, and the contract was awarded to In SituForm Technologies of Chesterfield, Missouri, for a total bid amount of $1,085,890 over three years. National Water Main Cleaning of Kearney, New Jersey, was the other bidder at $1,331,120.
