Board Approves Expenditures and Discusses Settlement Payment
The board reviewed cash reports and bills for the evening, including an additional invoice of $37,000 related to a settlement for 'Hawk6'. This payment fulfills an agreement where Josh Petri would be reimbursed for changes, partially through cash and partially through waived fees. Total expenditures for the evening were $180,499.15, with payroll at $115,420.97. A year-to-date revenue and expenditure report, including adjustments and items that did not come in timely, will be provided in June.
New Residential Development Planned for McDonald Road
A preview of a planned unit development for a residential subdivision was presented. The project, located on approximately 10 acres east of the transmission auto place on McDonald Road, involves a partnership between Ken Shala and John Chapman. Chapman will retain 3 acres for his home, while the remaining acreage will be subdivided into individually owned dwelling units, including townhomes and duplexes. The development aims for additional density and a different layout than permitted by current RM (multifamily residential) zoning, requiring a Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning change. The project is scheduled for a ZBA meeting on June 10th, with notices to homeowners being sent out on May 26th. A traffic study is also being conducted to assess potential impacts on major road alignment.
