City Council Convenes Regular Meeting, Approves Agenda, and Enters Closed Session for Labor Negotiations

The City Council convened for a regular meeting on June 16th. The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance, followed by a roll call of council members. A motion to approve the agenda was made by Mayor pro tem Nina Tarne and seconded by Council member Steve. The agenda was approved with a 5-0 vote. Public comments were opened and subsequently closed with no requests from the public or via Zoom. The council then moved to closed session to confer with labor negotiators regarding employee groups, as announced by City Attorney Barow, pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6.
