Community Action Grant Award Increased by $5,000

Tasty Tuesday Account Funds Authorized for Event Expenses
The council authorized spending funds from the Tasty Tuesday Special Revenue Account. The account was previously established to track funds from the event. The authorized expenditures total $2,080, covering folding picnic tables ($1,800), trash bags ($180), Facebook advertising ($100), and banner adjustments ($50). The funds are derived from fees collected from the event. The authorization passed 7-0.
Parks and Rec Funds Transferred for Summer Camp Field Trips
The council authorized the transfer of available revenue funds from the Parks and Recreation special revenue account to a new account specifically for summer camp field trips. This action, related to a technical error in the parks and rec budget, involves moving $20,000. The transfer passed 7-0.
Council Authorizes Waste Management Contract
The Town Council authorized the town manager to execute a contract with Mid-Main Waste Action Corporation. This decision followed a previous update from the town manager regarding the situation. A roll call vote was conducted due to a remote council member, passing with all seven councilors voting in favor.
