Mr. White has served on the board since 2004, and Mr. Chalfant since 2019.

Town Council Approves One Variance for Accessory Structure, Denies Two
The Town Council heard three variance requests for accessory structures at 1124 Julia Heights Drive, related to Case Numbers ZC-26001, ZC-26002, and ZC-26003. Variance ZC-26001, for a 9.8-foot side setback on the east, was approved. Variances ZC-26002 (2.75-foot side setback on the west) and ZC-26003 (3.75-foot distance from primary structure) were denied. The Zoning Board of Appeals had recommended approval for ZC-26001 but recommended denial for ZC-26002 and ZC-26003.
Concerns Raised Over Watercraft Safety in Beach Swimming Area
During the public comment period, residents raised concerns about a watercraft, identified as likely belonging to Code Enforcement, operating erratically within the designated swimming area at the beach. Concerns were expressed regarding safety risks to swimmers and snorkelers. The Council was informed that town management has contacted the Chief of Police, who assured them the issue is being addressed and will not recur. This incident involved a Code Enforcement boat with the town's logo operating improperly.
