City Council Approves New Towing Services Contract with Anaheim Fullerton
The City Council considered authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract service agreement with Anaheim Fullerton for towing services. The current contract expires June 30th. The police department reviewed towing needs and evaluated several companies, considering service, ability, pricing, and location. Anaheim Fullerton was selected over another company, Brayton, primarily due to pricing and services offered, including no charge for evidence storage. Anaheim Fullerton also has multiple tow yards strategically located within a five-mile radius of the city. The proposed contract is non-exclusive and allows termination with 30 days' notice. The Council approved the recommendation to execute the agreement with Anaheim Fullerton.
