Lakeshore Volunteer Fire Company Members Honored for 50 Years of Service

Purchase of Two Commercial Mowers Approved
The Town Board approved the purchase of two Q810E commercial quick track E-Series mowers for $16,088.34 after trade-in, on a lease-to-own basis with three annual payments. Funds are available and will be transferred to cover the cost.
Hamburg Authorizes Right of Entry for Sewer Management Inspection
The Town Board authorized the supervisor to sign right-of-entry forms for Erie County Division of Sewer Management (ECDSM) to inspect a sanitary sewer line crossing 18 Mile Creek through an easement on the town golf course and Taylor Road Park. Conditions include scheduling golf course access for the fall after closure and reviewing insurance in advance.
Hamburg Town Board Approves Police Clerk Appointment and Various Personnel Changes
The Town Board approved several personnel-related requests and appointments: 1) Approved emergency employment request for a full-time temporary police clerk [cite: 106]. 2) Approved the appointment of Tricia Lombardi to a probationary full-time position of police clerk at a salary of $22.44 per hour, effective July 6, 2026 [cite: 113, 115]. 3) Approved hiring of personnel for the police department as attached (Beach Greeter) [cite: 121]. 4) Approved termination and hiring of employees in Buildings and Grounds [cite: 126]. 5) Approved termination and hiring of personnel for Youth Recreation and Senior Services [cite: 131].
Up to $450,000 Approved for Senior and Community Center IT and Security Costs
The Town Board approved a budget amendment to increase funds by not to exceed $450,000 for IT, security, and other costs associated with the senior and community center project. These items are not included in the bid and involve integration with established town systems. The director of IT is authorized to sign related quotes.
