West Portion of 'Area One Bosey's Plan' Building Project Nearing Completion
The west portion of the 'area one Bosey's plan' building project is progressing rapidly, with interior framing started, new concrete poured, and fire suppression and heating systems installed. Underground plumbing is also stubbed up. The entrance on the west side is being constructed up a hill due to existing natural gas and power conduits that will be removed later. The project is moving along well.
Summer Concert Series Underway; Communication Channels for Changes Announced
The Village Administrator reported that the summer concert series is underway, with the first concert on Thursday being successful despite weather concerns. Information regarding cancellations or changes for concerts will be posted on the village website and Facebook page. The administrator also emphasized that concerts will proceed if there is a possibility of holding them at 7:00 p.m., even if weather is uncertain earlier in the day, to avoid difficult rescheduling.

Police Officer Justin Handley Approved for Close Quarters Tactics Training
The village board authorized police officer Justin Handley to attend a close quarters tactics course in Arisket, New York, from July 7th to July 10th, 2026. Officer Handley will be traveling with members of the CPD SWAT team, and lodging is provided free of charge, with breakfast and lunch included. The course is described as valuable for furthering education in SWAT tactics.
Police Chief Urges Caution on Roads Amid Increased Traffic
