Daly City Considers Public-Private Partnership for Westlake Park Improvements with Olympic Club
The City Council reviewed a proposed public-private partnership opportunity for improvements to Westlake Park between the City of Daly City and the Olympic Club. The proposal includes changing grass fields to artificial turf, resurfacing tennis courts to dual-use tennis and pickleball, adding new scoreboards, lighting, fencing, seating, and potentially a clubhouse and dog run. The Olympic Club would cover capital costs, and the agreement outlines operations, maintenance, a 15-year term with extensions, and an annual $50,000 payment to the city.
