Crystal Council Approves Aquatic Center Agreement Amendment, Water Main Adapters, and Budget Software

This amendment finalizes the construction cost and management fees, which are based on a two percent construction manager fee and administrative personnel costs. The total estimated construction cost for the pool is $4,710,576, making the construction manager fee $94,212 and administrative personnel costs $426,746. The overall budget for the project, including pool and building improvements, is $6,735,000. Additionally, the council approved the purchase of water main adapters for the Joint Water Commission, a routine replenishment of stock needed for water main repairs, costing $34,000. The council also approved the purchase of Questica budget software for an annual cost, with the first year's total including software and implementation services being $49,500. The total projected cost over five years is $205,634. This software aims to improve budgeting efficiency, forecasting, and public transparency.
