New Britain Approves Annual Software Subscription for City Departments
The council approved a one-year purchase order for $73,288 to Superion LLC for the annual subscription and maintenance of the city's One Solution software system. This software has been used by the finance and other city departments for approximately 10 years, and it is a sole-source product. Switching providers would incur significant costs for implementation and data migration. Funding is available through the Information Technology division maintenance contracts account.
Cardinal Engineering Selected for Allen Street Phase 2 Project Engineering

This project aims to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility, connecting New Britain from east to west, and will benefit residents near Armistice Street, particularly those returning to the Mount Pleasant redevelopment area.
